We co.e her for the great ice cream and coffee experience, but stepped in to the art gallery for our first time and met one of the local artist and got to visit with her about craft that she does. My daughter in law was immediately drawn to her work because of a common passion for working with metals. There wasn't enough time to see all that we wanted to see so we will be back soon.

The building alone is worth going into just to check out the architecture. Fantastic renovation done to save and utilize this historic building. Several different businesses here including a candy store and full service restaurant, with medical services downstairs.

Local Color is filled with beautiful and unusual pieces of art. Just walk in, and you'll be greeted by an artist who can give you a tour or let you mosey around. Across the hall is Caroline's, where the ice cream is yummy and the chocolates devine! Brush and Blade is at the back, and I like my hair stylist! Just walking into the building is a treat! Architecture and decor is amazing. Stop in, and enjoy the unique shops. I haven't tried the burger place yet 🤓

Every thing about this is just enjoyable! The art was beautiful and local. The building is fantastic! The ice cream was delicious. The environment was good, and there was some super awesome customers who added to the enjoyment of stopping here. I really look forward to my stop here in the future and hope it's just as outstanding!

I very much enjoy going in this building with my sons. The restoration is so thoughtful, beautiful, and useful. It’s always clean. The public bathrooms are elegant and spacious. The shops seem as if they were carefully chosen for an aesthetic that transports you back.,.. well, I’m not sure the restaurant transports you to a time from past,.. but the old time ice cream shop, Sweet Caroline’s, and the Brush And Blade hairstylists do. And even the Art Shop, Colors, does. We like to take a look at all the interesting details in the architecture of the building, but also look at the many old black and white photos from previous use of the building. The entry doors located on three sides of the building are these very old very very large solid doors with very large panes of glass in them. Original to the building. They open into an entry area. So thoughtful because the interior of the building is nice and warm in the winter considering if you open does that large waiting for your family to enter, the whole place would be cold! Check it out, you won’t be sorry.

Loved everything. Was with a group, they have a private room, and it was perfect. We ordered appetizers. My favorites were the spicy fried green beans and sweet potato fries. This is the only place I have liked the sweet potato fries they are amazing. Lots of dipping sauces if that's your thing all are good.

Social burgers and the ice cream parlor are both awesome places to eat relax and spend time.
